Well, today, mom called my ISP, and I got hooked up to dsl in my room. So far, it works quite great! I'm so very excited!

That's awesome! I remember using dialup, and it took a year and a day for a page to show itself.

Hmmm, yeah, it's better than Broadband, but Wireless is seriously the way to go. We're with Sky Wireless Broadband.

Well I remember using dial-up and it took a year and a day for the rest of the family to get back to sleep after being woken up by the squeaky squawky modem sounds!
Now Jen, what do you mean when you say "it's better than broadband"?

Isn't broadband the same as DSL?

I remember using dial up and it took me like an hour and a half just to check my email! Also if i was on the internet nobody could be on th phone and vise versa.

Ah yeah, I remember the days of dial-up on a prehistoric computer that was running JAWS 3.7, in demo mode, and Windows 95 or 98 or some shit. ...Those days can kiss my ass! lmfao!
